Thursday 5th Nov raid

Sorry if i'm posting this without prior notice. But i'm bored at work and thought it good to get a post up nice and early. With it being bomfire night this thursday, i was wondering if there is gona be much interest. I've been invited to a firework display but i'm not really fussed about going at all. But if there isnt a raid, then i'll end up going. So i'm asking for nice quick replies please, so not only me, but everyone can have an idea of whats happening.

If we can get a good solid guild group, i'd suggest 10 man TOGC, if its a wipe fest, then just do the usual farm. And if we are going to attempt the HC mode, i suggest we do ony/voa first so that we have more time on the bigger fish.

Only my 2 cents, i'd welcome any idea's. I'm a deffinate at the minute. But i'm gona pull out if we dont have a solid group by wednesday 4th.

I cant see why we wouldnt be raiding this thursday. Im sure the normal people will be online. Some brief discussions have occured amongst the officers as to what we should be running. At the moment its very frustrating as the times we have tried 25 amn raids as our main raids we get lots of ppl who sauy they are up for it and then go missing. We have tried TOTC 10m heroic a couple of times without success.

At the moment we clear voa, ony and totc 10 man easily, so we need a step up. The last two weeks running totc 25 man has been good so thanks Anu.

We seem to go through phases where it appears we nearly have enough for 25 man raids, but it never quite happens.

Hopefully we can get ppl signed up early so we can get a grp sorted out early.

This week is manic for me in the evenings - I've currently got something booked every evening from now until next Sunday! I can't make Thursday for sure (my meeting will run until 10/11 I'd have thought) and I'm going to struggle to be online before 10 most days this week

I'd have thought that ToGC is pretty much within our grasp now. We've had a few upgrades since we last tried, with the right amount of focus I'm sure we could crack the first boss as a minimum. It's interesting to note that the second fight is actually easier for the tanks than it currently is. I can't say I enjoyed the volcano adds at all last night...

I agree with Met, last week when the guild ran TOC 10, i ran it with another guild (They only needed a healer). There was only me and a pally healer. We cleared it with only one wipe on the champions. After inspecting there gear, i'd say they were about on par as a guild with ourselves, if anything we're better geared than them. To the point, if they can clear it normal mode with 2 healers, i think that we can clear HC mode it with 3. Get all the raiders on vent, get the group sorted early. And with abit of good leadership (like last night from Anu) i think TOC 10 man HC should be cake.

Think ICC is only a month or so away? If we want to have a shot at getting that cleared within the first month - 6 weeks, we need to start looking at HC modes. If we fail, we just go on normal and clear like usual.

Its looking like we will need both Harbinger and Wickedblade for Thursday then as tanks

Fox could also tank if he is around. I'd have thought harb and wicked are the best options though. It's a shame we haven't got a different class of tank atm - a pally or dk tank would be nice just for the different skills they have. I know that warriors are obviously the best tanks in the game but occasionally I'd like a bit more aoe tanking skills... Maybe I'll level my dk in my spare time

well i will be online and i will be able to tank or dps. I dont see why warriors are over pallies @ tanking tho Pallies can be unhitable far easier than warriors are and we wont speak in terms of threat i think you all know how op pallies are

I'm not very confident with the leading part. I know the fights, but only really from a healing perspective (Sort of a back seat in some cases). So would prefer someone to lead if anyone wants to offer?

I've just been told that i'm on a meeting that will deffinately run over my normal working hours. Which will put all my other stuff back a bit. I'll deffinately be on just before 8. But i thought i'd let you know if you dont see me on around half 7.

See what the collective think, but i fancy at least attempting HC mode.

If we are doing HC it may not make sense for me to come as DPS - you'd be better with Hungry in terms of raw numbers. Might only want me for BloodLust / totems etc but prepared to drop out if need be...

Good job last night. 2 achievements and a smooth quick clear.

Salt and Pepper (10 player)
Defeat the Twin Val'kyr in 3 minutes or less in 10-player mode.

Upper Back Pain (10 player)
Defeat Icehowl while at least 2 Snobolds remain alive in 10-player mode.

Hopefully we will have the tanks to do it on Heroic next week.

If we do normal mode again I think we could try for:

Three Sixty Pain Spike (10 player)
Defeat Lord Jaraxxus while at least two Mistresses of Pain are alive in 10-player mode.

and maybe try the faction champs one but it would take a lot of coordination.

Resilience Will Fix It (10 player)
Kill the enemy heroes within 60 seconds of each other in 10-player mode.
