Just a quick question to see what people want to do with VoA. It's starting to eat into any time we can get in ICC (which is increasingly precious time). My call is probably to move a guild VoA to a different night and for those that cannot run a different night to pug it (preferably in a class run).

    What do others think?

Happy to run it if there are guildies on but if I get a night where I have the time I will either pug a class run or start my own and invite as many guildies as I can.

I voted to Pug it. I'd like to do it as a guild run on a seperate night, say Tuesday? But its unlikely that i can get on at a specific time on any other day except for a Thursday / Sunday. And i too feel its eating into our ICC raids. By the time we get there, down him and move to ICC its about 20-30 minutes (Because people will disappear for flasks/enchants/gems etc)

Class runs are the way forward for VOA in my opinion

Like some of the others i would like to run it as guild, but obviously it does eat into our raid time, so how about as Null says we try to run it on something like a Wednesday at 8:00. That way ppl can be online and if they cant run it then they have a week to pug it.

I take the point about Gems, flasks etc also slowing us down, but really ppl should have these all done well before a raid. We only raid twice a week so its not asking much for ppl to be ready, yet often we still see that ppl are doing things like dailys(holds up hand guiltily) and doing other stuff.

How about we make a big effort for the raid to start at 8:00. To do this ppl need to be online and ready at 7:50. Ok there are always going to be the odd reason why ppl are a few minutes late, but most ppl are generally online before this.

At the moment we probably spend no more 2 hours raiding due to starting late, gemming loot, enchants etc imo it doesnt allow us enough time on the bosses we need to learn. If you look at the number of attempts on Putri and the princes its probably remarkably few. Lets try and focus more on getting as much raid time as we can.

Sorry this is a bit of a moan, but loike everyone else im probably frustrated at not getting these bosses down and we will only do this by maximising our time on them

Just to back up what Org is saying there - it's not a moan btw, merely a statement of fact.

Lets assume that Joe is right when he says it is taking guilds around 30 attempts to clear on of these two bosses. So far we have had (in total) 12 attempts at princes and 17 attempts on Prof. At this rate we are still 3 weeks away from seeing one of them down affraid

We'll be getting a buff this week which will no doubt help, but we still need attempts to learn the fight. Last Thursday we managed 9 attempts on princes, get anther 9 in this week and we may crack it (fingers crossed). Lets face it I think we're better than average guilds so 21 attempts hopefully will be enough for us.

Lets focus on princes only - VoA is puggable and can be scheduled for 8pm Wednesday. If folk are on we'll guild run it, if we need to pug a few slots then thats fine too. Anyone not on at 8 Wednesday will not have too much trouble pugging (hopefully in a class run)
